Moran Industries Donates 25 Computers to the Community through MeGive Project
Locally-based logistics company, Moran Industries, is partnering with MeGive to donate 25 computers back into the community. MeGive is a project of MePush, Inc., Central PA’s only full-service computer services provider. The personal computers will be refurbished by MePush’s team of IT professionals, and then donated to a local non-profit organization.
“As Moran continues to innovate we want to give back to the community so it too can use technology to grow. MePush helps us daily with our IT needs, so the MeGive project made sense. We need to upgrade our equipment and non-profits and other individuals can now use this equipment,” says Michael Gilger of Moran Industries.
According to Conor Quinlan with MeGive and MePush, Inc, “On the surface, reusing computers is a practical solution to a growing problem of e-waste. But just as important, it redeploys useable equipment to individuals, businesses and non-profits that may not be able to afford brand-new equipment.”
