Onsite with a client today we saw that the Inbox toolbar malwalware can remain the default search provider in Firefox even after purging from system via Add/Remove through a hidden setting. So if you are removing InBox and you see firefox, open a new tab in Firefox to about:config, scroll down to keyword.url, right click and choose Set to Default.
