MePush Expands Computer Services to Bloomsburg, Danville and Williamsport

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

LEWISBURG, PA – MePush Technology Solutions (www.mepush.com) expands its residential and business computer services to the Williamsport, Danville and Bloomsburg areas. The Lewisburg-based company will use a mix of customer service and technology to establish a local presence in these areas.

Conor Quinlan, MePush CEO, attributes an efficient use of technology as the reason for the company’s past and future growth. As an indicator to the company’s health and success, he cites a 17% increase in revenue for the first half of 2009 compared to the same period in 2008.

MePush uses several technologies to provide instant, remote support to customers and businesses. MePush IT specialists can repair computer problems, back up data, and manage business networks over a secure internet connection. The efficient use of these technologies means customers save a trip to the repair shop, and businesses save the time it would normally take a technician to respond in-person.

If remote technical support is not available, a technician will make an in-person house call. MePush offers onsite service in addition to free pickup and delivery throughout its service area, including Williamsport, Danville and Bloomsburg. A technician will pick up the ailing computer from the customer’s home or business and will take it back to the MePush office for repair. After repairs are made, the computer is hand-delivered to the customer.

“We’re able to reach into communities up to 60 miles away and offer our clients every convenience of having a local shop,” said Quinlan. “By leveraging technology we can offer the right mix of speed, personality and service while expanding our service area,” he said.

MePush is a Central Pennsylvania technology solutions provider. The company focuses solely on providing superior computer and network services to homes and businesses. Services include virus removal, sales, repairs, networking, and business IT management. For more information, visit www.mepush.com.

MePush Inc. Wins Favorite Place on Google!

MePush Inc. wins “Favorite Place” on Google

Some may think that Florida is the best place to be in January, but Conor Quinlan, CEO of MePush, Inc, is basking in his “favorite place” ranking with the search engine Google.

Google identified over 100,000 businesses, representing less than 1% of 28 million U.S. businesses, as “Favorite Places on Google.” MePush won this designation based on how many Google users looked for more information about a business or looked for driving directions to the business.

Google notified Quinlan that between July 1 and September 30, Google users found the MePush business listing 942 times and requested driving direction or other information about the business 321 times.

As a result of this listing, MePush received a window decal with a two-dimensional bar code that can be scanned using many mobile phone systems. With just a simple scan of the code, users can read reviews of the business, write a review, find a coupon or flag the business for later use.

Five-year-old MePush, Inc. is a technology solutions provider serving central Pennsylvania, including Lewisburg, Sunbury, Williamsport, Danville and Bloomsburg. Google has not yet decided if they will send out more “favorite place” decals, but Quinlan recommends that “businesses register with Google Local Business Center (and Yahoo and Bing) to better manage their local search listings and increase traffic to their web sites as well their brick and mortar locations.”

MePush Celebrates Fifth Birthday

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

LEWISBURG, PA – To celebrate its fifth birthday, MePush Technology Solutions will be giving away free iPods to its Twitter (twitter.com/mepush) followers and Facebook (companies.to/mepush) fans. Winners will be randomly selected December, 1 2009.

As MePush turns 5, the company continues to expand its service offerings. It recently added off-site data backup and web-based computer support services, and announced service to the Danville and Bloomsburg areas.

MePush’s trademark 1953 Dodge panel truck will be the first mobile Wi-Fi hotspot in central Pennsylvania. MePush plans to use the truck to provide internet service to clients who experience an extended outage. The truck will also supply free wireless internet connections for mobile events and activities. The truck will get an overhaul in the coming winter, and will be providing mobile Wi-Fi in the spring.

Conor Quinlan started MePush in the fall of 2004 by providing computer, network and IT support from his home office. The company added one employee each year and now employs five full-time geeks. In April 2007, Quinlan moved MePush out of the house and into its current Market Street location in Lewisburg.

According to Quinlan, the secret to MePush’s success is fast, friendly and fanatical customer service infused with an understanding of how technology impacts a business or home. MePush responds to computer problems with urgency, sound advice and technical competence.

Bloomsburg Web Design Companies

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

MePush Technology Solutions (www.mepush.com) expands its web design services to the Danville and Bloomsburg areas. The Lewisburg-based company will use a mix of customer service and technology to establish a local presence in these areas and provide Bloomsburg and Danville with superior web design services.

Conor Quinlan, MePush CEO, attributes excellent customer service, an insistence on top notch design, and the ability to produce sites that rank very high in Google as the reason for the company’s past and future growth. As an indicator to the company’s health and success, he cites a 17% increase in revenue for the first half of 2009 compared to the same period in 2008.

“Our clients see our passion for their business and understand that our goal is to build their business,” said Quinlan.

Bobbie Kroman, who recently launched BJKCOUTURE.COM,  expressed her enthusiasm in a thank you note she wrote after the site launched.

“I am delighted to recommend MePush to anyone needing an e-commerce website.  I came to Conor after two other web developers failed to meet my creative requirements or timeframes.  I was long past my targeted launch date and pretty desperate.  MePush was able to develop my site, start to finish, in only 2 weeks, delivering exactly what I had envisioned.  I worked primarily with Alex and found him to be amazingly patient and clear with me, and always working in my best interests.  He took my (new) deadline very seriously and helped me successfully launch my clothing line right on time.  My site is creatively done, and fully reflective of the products I sell.  Thank you Conor, Alex and Xiaolong!”
